LET’S REIGNITE YOUR ENGLISH LEARNING SPARK

Hi! I’m Beata and I want to help you reignite your English learning spark.
Are you curious about the world, not just English?
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with everyday duties, a fast-paced world, the news, and thinking how on Earth are you supposed to add learning English to all that?
You’re not the only one.
You’re in the right place.
Let me help you get unstuck.

Maybe you’ve been learning from coursebooks and feel that they’re a bit flat, too unrelated to the world we live in.
Maybe you’ve been trying to keep your English alive by watching some shows with English subtitles.
Maybe you’ve done an occasional grammar task or spent some time with Duolingo.
But you feel it’s not enough.
And you feel you’d like something different.
Something deeper.
Something more grounded.
But not something that will take forever.
And not something that reminds you of being at school again.
My experiments are NOT for you if:
you love learning from coursebooks
you expect tests and traditional homework
you love learning grammar theory
you thrive when you get lists of words to memorise
you want someone to interrupt you when you’re sharing your thoughts to correct all your mistakes at that very moment
My experiments ARE FOR YOU if:
you love learning more about the world and yourself
you appreciate a good story
you want this experience to be more than just an English lesson
you want to learn online but would like to engage with language not only when we’re meeting
you want to learn the way your brain likes to
you want to have fun and learn in an effective way
you want to get personalised feedback
you are ready to surprise yourself and be surprised
Why am I the right person to help you?
I’m a curious person & a lifelong learner and I love experiments that lead to designing unusual learning experiences.
I’m an avid reader, so I collect stories that make for engaging lessons.
I believe in combining the best of online and offline, digital and analogue, so you can expect hand-written notes with doodles being displayed on screen, thanks to my desk-view camera.
I keep developing as a teacher, currently learning to make my teaching even more neurodiverse-friendly and improving the way I help my students set goals and stay motivated through Neurolanguage Coaching.
With over 23 years of experience, 5 of which have been exclusively online, I can organise work for myself and others, use a variety of online tools to enhance your learning experience, and love helping people learn more effectively.
I’m patient and create a welcoming, stress-free atmosphere so your brain is ready to learn.

FAQs
Are these English courses?
Yes, and more. Engaging, authentic content, experiments, surprises, generally: a playground for adults in the best meaning of the word.
What if I don’t want to learn in a group?
Group experience has lots of advantages but I understand it’s not for everyone. If you feel you’d prefer 1-2-1, no problem, I’ll be happy to help.
What if I don’t have much time outside the weekly meetings?
Season of Senses mini-experiments will take you minutes, not hours, if you want. The Good News English newsletter is not lengthy, 15 minutes will be enough to read / watch the story and engage with language. Also, I’ll share with you some tips and tricks to help you find pockets of time to engage with English between the sessions.
What if I’m not sure if The Season of Senses , Walk & Talk [Warsaw] or The Good News English is for me?
That’s why you can book a free 15minute chat to see if it’s for you and ask any questions you have.
What if I feel stuck, blocked, and don’t have great memories related to learning English?
Let’s chat about it first so I learn more about your story and see how I can help you reignite your English learning spark.
